2010 911

Has anybody heard or seen anything about the changes for 2010 for the 911.
I was thinking about getting a 2009, but heard that 2010 model will be a major update for the 911, so I may wait? Interested in finding out more. MGS

The 2009 has some minor changes (bumper design, hp bump, PDK, new PCM with touch screen, and new tail lights). This design will be around for 2-3 years and then something new will be out. Buy a 09, it will be current for a while.

+1 on the 2009. Next major update will be 998 (or whatever the internal designation is).

If you want one, buy one

If you keep waiting for the next edition, you will never get one.

I believe the 2009 model is the major change that you are talking about. I don't think there will be any changes for another 2-3 years.

end of 2011 is meant ot be next 911 time.

09 is a big change. The engine is new and by all accounts a huge improvement. Better fuel consumption and more power,

PDK is sounding fairly good for the guys that would have previously opted for tiptronic as well.

I agree the 09 will be a better car. I just can't see trading in my 997 S. Mine is 3-1/2 years old. I love it! It is worth $45k in trade. It will cost $100k to replace. I plan to keep it until the new model (998/991). I am guessing 2011.

Crys with jealousy....

I cant even get a 2005 Boxster S for 45k in Switzerland let alone a C2S.

Cheapest 997s and that is a base c2 is 85k in Switzerland.

if you planned to get a new car every 2 years, you should get the 09.
if you planned to get a new car every 4 years, wait for the 11.
If you planned to get a new car every 8 years, 13
