I've had my eyes on a particular car for a while and since we're on the topic, tell me what you guys think -

2008 C2S
-White/Black alcantara sport adaptive seats
-Sport chrono package plus
-Heated seats
-Aero kit
-Deviated lobster claws
-Sport exhaust
-PCM (Nav)
-Bose high end
-Alcantara steering wheel
-2,900 miles, warranty in effect til 50k

Asking price after negotiation : $83,500!

seems high, doesn't it???

John
What's the MSRP on the car? Maybe not that bad, figure on a min. of 10% with zero miles. BUT, it's got some great options, I might go for it if I were you. Must look nice - white with the aero. PM me if you pass

Of course there's a white one on CL (2006 C2S) that the seller want's $82.5K (!!) and there's no aero kit or sport exhaust.

The MSRP isnt shown but the car is listed at 89k. I'll know by Monday once the holiday weekend is over if this is the one.

If not, I'll PM you. Seems to be a great car I just feel like that price needs to shed a couple more grand for me to feel satisfied with the purchase if you know what I mean

I just went from an e46 to a new 08 C4S cab. I got a great discount. I've been waiting a long time and just couldn't take it any longer! I'm really happy with the new car. Everything about it is spot on. I think I'll end up a permanent p-car convert.

I hear ya, $80-81k sounds so much better for some reason Good luck -

BTW - I saw the car - looks nice, only thing I'd change are the color of the wheels - I like white on a white car.

My discount was approx. 8%, plus the car had to be shipped cross country which cost between $1500-2000. Maybe better deals out there, but I was content with the process. Nice dealer, no haggling. Pics coming soon. Not a nice enough day in Upstate NY to take pics.

Good idea on waiting until the fall.

Have you thought of a 996 GT3 or 996 Turbo. Both of these cars are steals now and there are a lot of garage queens for sale.

the best advice I can give is not to buy one now - at first it seemed like money was an issue and now your considering a new one. The 09 direct injection model might just be worth the wait. also have you driven the gt3?
I have not but have heard many different opinions about the ride around town (kind of stiff) The best thing to do is to take your time and test drive a bunch of cars. Good luck
