Many will chime in here and say the price is too high - it is.

Mileage is a bit too low - these cars need to be driven (min 5K per year) but you can make up for that on a 1 - 2 year old car.

Rough guess is that the price is 6K - 10K north of where it needs to be. Aerokits do not fetch much extra (15% - 20% of MSRP) at resale so that 6K add on is worth about 1K (unless you really like it - I think it looks good). The seats and the PSE are nice options and the rest of the options are pretty nice to have, I love the Sports Chrono Plus package on my car.

So it you want the car offer 68K and bargain hard, make the purchase contingent on a Pre Purchase Inspection at a local Porsche Dealership.

For that kind of money you should be able to find some good CPO cars at some Porsche dealers and then you will get a good warrantee, so look around (it also improves your leverage with these guys).

If you drive it I know you will loved it, these are great cars to drive, have fun!

I think it has all the right options, I think $75 is a fair price for this car.

Teddy, if you're not set on black let me know. I'm considering selling my '07 C2S (see this thread: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...e-my-ride.html), and I'm right down in Atlanta so you could come by and see it.

Thanks Gravedgr..... I'd love to find something closer, unfortunatley yellow is not on my radar. I'm looking for gray ( meteor, slate or seal) first, then black.
I just sold my Ford GT, so the hunt is on. Looking for a C2S or GT3 ( 997 model)
Thanks guys

No worries. I haven't decided for sure I'm going to sell it, but I'm considering a move to a 4-door that will hold the kids and still haul some ***.

Don't these cars always look beautiful on a used car lot?
You know I like black cars and that car looks stunning but its priced high and you do need to see it in person and have it fully inspected by a Porsche dealership .

At this high price --why not get a new car and factor out some of the risk?

Thanks... I was figuring in the 70-75K range. I of course wouldn't buy it without seeing it in person.
With a car this clean/low millage and still under warranty, would you guys still insist on a PPI ?
If I were to buy new...I'd wait for the '09. When do you think they'll realistically be available??
Thanks guys

Ppi

Event though the car is esentially brand new, I would have a PPI just to get the DME read to make sure there were minimum type III and no type IV over revs. If there is the warrantee would not be worth anything if you have issues with the engine later.

Is that an "S"? For some reason it looks like a C2 with a whole bunch of mods. (see black instrument panel).

It's an "S"... if you look at the window sticker, it has " black instrument dials" noted. It's really nice with some options I'm looking for....but I agree that it's 5-10K too high.
I've found a couple new 08's spec'd the way I like, and I've been quoted 10-12% off sticker without even trying hard.

Lil' Raja...send some info/pictures if you have them. I'm really looking for gray or black, but wouldn't mind looking at everything.
Thanks

I think it depends on how bad you want the aerokit. If you are going to buy it new, don't forget it is a 6-7k option...
