Not loving my Tooki. It reads strange messages like "print". Also registers ROAMING when the phone isn't. The sound quailty is fair and the unit is certainly not inexpensive.

NYC997,
Have you updated your Tooki lately ? the missing "S" for Sprint was fixed many moons ago.... And no more "Roaming" messages...

Bose or Non-Bose, As long as it's a PCM2.1 radio and not a CDR they should both work.

I was getting frustrated with the Tooki, and I did the last software up grade. It works very well now. Do the update, it is easy and solves all the problems that you are complaining about.

I have had no problems with my Tooki, works well. I did change the mic out to something smaller and with better sound quality, but it's worked well for me.

I'm curious what mic did you substitute for the Tooki mic.

I have had TOOKI for 4 months and it works fine- not exactly as good as my previous Bluetooth system in my 6 series BMW- but fine nonetheless.

One hint- lower the volume of the speaker so the "caller" on the other end does not listen to too much echo- but I found once you lower it the system works pretty good- well worth the $700 I paid at Al and Eds in Costa Mesa-

Cheers-

SD
