Aqua Blue

I ordered a new 09' in Aqua Blue. Now I am not sure what I am getting. Please look at the photos below. One was taken from the Porsche website and the other from a Porsche ad. Clearly they are different. I like the brighter blue so I am hoping that is it.

Can anyone verify?

that is good to hear. I wonder why the Porsche website shows the darker color as "aqua blue".

hmmmm

looks like the blue I see on many nissan 350z's.....

I am not a P car snob, that is not a dig, Nissan's are great.... I think I like the color in pic 4 the best if it existed, more like the "steel blue" that jeep has which is very nice IMO.... not sure I am feeling that metalic bright blue. but all that matters is that you like it!

I drove an Aqua Blue 997.2 last Saturday- it is defintley the first and third pictures that you have there-

It is a nice color- I have a Midnight Blue 997 and I think that is a richer color but the Aqua Blue was nice- I am not sure what Interior to get with that- this one had the medium gray color which is OK but not near as nice as the Sand Beige- and I am not sure the Sand Beige is a good call with the Aqua-

Show us some pics when it comes in!

Good luck-

SD

I think a launch car is Aqua. You shouldn't have much trouble locating one at a dealer in S Florida.

Thumbs up

The aqua blue looks great. I would go with sand beige for the interior.

I just saw an aqua blue cayman S. I love the color and I don't even like blue cars. By far the best Porsche blue to date. It much better than Lapis blue. It looks really good with black wheels.

Saw the Aqua Blue at the NYC Car Show last night and it's definitely pics 1 and 3, although I'd say the pics are a tiny hair on the light side. The car I saw last night was just a shade deeper, but it was gorgeous!!! Under the show lights, the metallic just jumped out at you. Congrats on picking a great color!

Enjoy the car in good health.
