It rocked. PDK "S" model with the sport chrono plus package. I was very impressed. The buttons took all of about 1 min to get used to. The launch control was amazing. The whole car is quite a package. Porsche hit a home run with the new wheels, headlights, touch screen, IPOD connectivity, and obviously the performance. This car was a rocket! Who needs a clutch?

Thats great, have a question for ya. Does the car ever so slightly jerks while your braking to 0 at times? and does the car sometimes jerk when your going at a very slow speed at around say 20 kms when its changing between 1 - 2 and back to the first gear? I ask because I am facing this with my new c2s pdk. And it also makes a slight flywheel grinding noise on light acceleration from time to time.

I didn't find it was any jerkier in first gear than a manual transmission. I thought the whole transmission was quite seamless and very smooth. Even the shifts when in sport plus mode were much less violent than say in the new M3. It was lightning fast! When the car was just in drive, you couldn't even feel it shift. I really only heard it shift. I definitely didn't hear any grinding noises. Sounds like you need to head back to the dealer.

Shifts to 1st in Sport Plus mode have a slight jerk. Flywheel noise? I am not certain.

You should drive a similar car and compare - that way you'll be able to find if there's something wrong with your car. And... keep us posted.

Drove a new 4S launch car yesterday and noticed slight jerkiness when shifting in and out of 1st and 2nd at stops. Reminded me that this is not a normal automatic but was nothing bad enough to worry about. Did not hear any grinding though.

I experienced that during my 09S PDK test drive and reported it here...once Porsche gets enough complaints they'll do a software fix. I'd get your Porsche regional rep involved so he can get the info to Germany.

Either my car didn't do this stuff or I was just having too much fun to notice

I love this car. I can't believe how good the stock wheels look.
