ok guys.........need some help
I "need" that new 997.2........its a sickness
Given the economy...i could use a few "Points of View" to help me with my justifications to my wife .
How about
1. Happy Husband = Happy Wife (the old standby)
or
2. If we had put $1 M in the stock market we would have lost $400 K
As we didnt I therefore got the car for free.....
.
or.......please help........any other d rational points?

Just tell your wife that you ware the pants in the family and have decided to buy a new Porsche. Then tell her that you will consider her opinion regarding color selection as long as she is appreciative that you are allowing her to be involved in the purchasing process.

If you're replacing an existing "911" -- get the same colors. It might take her a while to notice it looks different. Then merely claim what a fantastic detailing shop you found. Did such a great job, the car just seems new!
(Although, it may get expensive when she wants a similar detail for her own car.... )
Yet, if you genuinely can afford it, the decision shouldn't require a lot of discussion. Just maximize the rewards while minimizing the costs.

The Fabspeed 997.2 intake looks really cool. They claim a nice gain with it. I will be waiting you test results.
