If you look at my avatar, You can see my turnsignal bulb. If that was a LED white it would fill out my fog light casing, and Nice to have it flash Amber for signals.

wont work, the car will throw a code at you and the bulb wont ignite - same goes for swapping LED's in any of the fitments on the exterior that are monitored by the cars bulb out warning system.

You can install some resistors at the same time to get it working but theres not much room for those.

I just purchased P21W from Walmart for $2.76 (2 bulbs) to be used on my C230. It's not LED but the original bulb lasted 6 years.

I replaced my w5w parking lights with PIAA LED from Japan with ECU ERROR Blocker works greats! The I used PIAA H8 Foglight bulb from Japan and that one worked great. I have a pic in my album labeled 997.

I never bought the switchbacks was hoping someone on here with a shop would figure it out. I bought PIAA LED for the w5w and foglights.

LED lights

Just to be clear you are referring to the fog lights that are in the main circular housing? The parking lights are the separate horizontal bar below the main lights? Which of the bulbs w5w or H8 is for the separate horizontal bar below the main lights as that is the only one I want to install.

Have you had any of the browning issues from heat (I would assume no as LED has lower heat) also do you get the bulb out error message with the Piaas?

the horizontal bar sits the H8 bulbs, I think yellow ones would look better, I installed Hoen in the turbo, not a fan of the blue LED look, bit ricey for my tastes, but yellow looks good and offers an actual benefit in the rain and fog.
