Whining
06 911S with tiptronic 17,500 miles: for several months I've experienced a low and minor but generally steady "whiny noise" when I lift off or at times when cruise is engaged. Definitely more pronounced when engine is warm.Two Porsche techs have driven the car and say 'don't worry". Your thoughts?

My wife hated driving in the Porsche with the stock set up, she would hate it the way I have it now. OK with me, she never asks to drive it, and the wheels are still in perfect condition...go figure
