Wheels out of the paint booth (part 2)
part 1 here:
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ooth-pics.html
perhaps it was a mistake to take the paint catalog home. there were literally 100's of different silvers in there and made choosing a color not so easy.
i finally settled on a silver from honda called storm silver. fortunately or unfortunately, someone posted some nice pics of a C2S with GT silver carrera sport wheels. after looking at more pics to see what that color would look like with arctic silver, i liked what i saw so changed from storm silver to gt silver.
paint needs a couple of more days to dry before i can mount tires but will post pics when that happens.
just the wheels for now: wachathink?

Low luster or satin finish is good choice.
Yep.....a million shades of silver-grey.
Are you not painting center caps?....(maybe my eye, but appear lighter).
I went with a grey metalic center & bushed-clear lip on Arctic Silver Turbo.
Just got done paining TechArt GTS's (with machined-clear lip) a slightly dif grey center on 997.2 GT Silver to compliment Stone Grey cab top.

Your going full circle, when do you paint them black with a Silver lip?

GTS's have the machined-cleared outer lip (not painted silver)......that's what I was after...rather than 'painted silver' of Formula Techarts.
GTSs come black of course (save the machined lip).
