Sport bucket seat.

Test drove 2 cars today, both with sport bucket seats. Seems ok in terms of comfort, a bit awkward getting in and out of the car but a short drive doesn't tell the whole story. Your thoughts on long trip comfort?

I drove in a 997GT2 for most of a day and have to say for me it seemed comfortable. Is it as comfy as a regular "sport" seat for most people? Probably not.

It is comfortable enough for me, just getting in and getting out seems to be a little bit problem. But its nothing as they look so cool and all the weight savings

Once you are in them they are great... getting in and out is more work than a regular sport seat and I think if you were to use them in a daily driver it would maybe become a bit annoying, not to mention if you were to get in and out of them several times a day I think the leather would take a beating from sliding over it so much.

My 997.2 is the daily driver, and the GT2 seats are-- by far --the best option in my car.
in and out, You get used it very easy..... And those seats makes it a sportcar!

I have the GT2 sport buckets with CF backs on my 997.2 C4S. Thats one of the main reason I bought that particular car. Its excellent if you're the driver, but have heard various things from passengers. It has been comfortable for me a couple drives out to Palm Springs from the OC (about 100 miles each way). It's also my half DD but that's only a couple miles each way.

I have the Euro 996GT3 Seats in my 997, and it is a bit of work to get in and out. I put my left hand on the door sill and push and twist, do it a few times and it is normal.

Seats are awesome for DD and track use.
