Introducing the NEW Werks One Composites 997.2 Rear Diffuser

Fresh out of the oven!

We are very excited to introduce you to the new rear diffuser for the 997.2 Direct Fuel Injection vehicles. Full carbon fiber construction not only delivers superb rigidty, but looks amazing as well. Much like our 997 Turbo rear diffuser, the 997.2 part utilizes existing factory mounting points to install and does not require any modification to the vehicle.

***UPDATE*** Due to demand, there will be a carbon rear diffuser produced for the 997.1 model vehicles. Pictures will be posted as soon as possible in a new thread. Please stay tuned for further updates.

For more information and pricing please feel free to contact us.

Looks great. Does it have some serious heat shielding for the rear center muffler?

Did you do any wind tunnel testing to see what the extra down force would be?

+1

Is it for looks or does it create down force?

^Ya. Is it just me, or is all the really cool sh*t only for the .2? The .1 was out for 4 MYs, and everything out is just mediocre. The .2 is out for less than a year and every cool thing under the sun comes out for it. WTF.

Great piece by the way. I'd be interested to know how it affects downforce as well.

Does anyone know if it improves anything? Or is it just for good looks. That said, as long as it doesn't make the aero worse, it really would be very nice to look at.
I have .1 envy.

RonCT, I bet it weights nothing and I bet it costs a fortune! I also think it was not designed in a wind tunnel so no one will know if it provides any downforce benefit at all. I do hope I am proved wrong though.

I keep telling my prosthetic leg guy to take some of his carbon fiber and get into some after market car parts! My whole prosthetic leg is carbon and titainium.

Good, serious question; I'd be even more concerned about it capturing/retaining more heat in the engine bay. The Champion guys are a hell of a lot sharper than I am so they must have considered this, but I'd like to know.

Their Turbo diffuser link is http://www.championmotorsport.com/we..._diffuser.html
