how do you remove the hood emblem on a 997?

I havent looked at the pins that hold the hood emblem on, but how do you take them on and off? The ones i received with my new emblem look pretty interesting and I have no idea how to get my fingers in that little hole to access the stock ones... any advise?

It is called a "speed nut." 8mm or 5/16 deep well WILL remove AND same will reattach new nuts to new emblem. Did mine two days ago with PCars silver crest. LOOKS AWESOME on my Atlas Gray.
