mike87 is infamous around these parts
Only 20 HP more with direct injection and 0.2L more displacement? They could do better... would rather wait until the new models start rolling out around 2010-2012.

Does this mean the non turbo PDK 10's will have paddles?
Only 20 HP increase...weak.

If this is a turbocharged version of the new 3.8 DI motor then it is the end of an era for the true split case turbo motors.

Nice to read it . I like the buttons but would consider a steering wheel paddle swap my 997.2 to paddles if a conversion can be retrofitted.

I am not sure with the new Turbo engine though . 20 Hp is nothing compared to what the tuners have derived out of the Gt1 engine . It sounds like cost cutting made way to the Turbo with a shared engine 3.8 DFI but will keep an open mind to judge it when I drive one.

Are they center locking wheels on the yellow coupe? Look like it.

Just my humble opinion, but the 20 hp is just a nice side effect for swapping to the 3.8L DFI engine... the pdk will make this car a beast... everyone seems to forget that the 997.2 PDK is already running 11s in the 1/4

Hmmm. Look at the wheels .(photo on the posted link ) Is Porsche going after the wheel market ? I am noticing improved stock wheels lately. The Carerra sport on my car are the first set of stock wheels that I like.

Yes those wheels look awesome. I think Porsche has been making nice wheels for years. I have a set of Carrera Classics and Sport Designs both of which I think are nice looking. Fuchs are classics that will never grow old. The only problem with Porsche wheels are they are heavy.
