Popular color combo?

Thinking about purchasing a '09 C2C cab, black exterior and red natural full leather interior. Do you guys think this color combo would be bad/good/neutral for resale value? I like the color, wife thinks not too many others will like it...

This is a basalt black/red C2S cab, stunning in person.

If you order red inside be sure to order black deviating carpet. The red carpets are a huge turnoff.

The color in the attached pics look good! Red might be a little too much but the Terracota looks amazing!

Classic silver/red would be the move if you're concerned about resale value.

Color is obviously a personal choice, but I find the 2-tone black/terracotta interiors the nicest, with deviating carpet (black). The red seems a little too loud to me, and can't be had with black dash cover like the terracotta can. I agree with your wife that there may be fewer people who would like the red interior as much as other colors. But if you like it, go for it. It will still look great on the black cab.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I think I'll pass on the red, it is a bit loud. The vehicle I'm looking at has the red carpet as well, no contrast to break it up.

I didn't want the red interior either when I saw the photo. But it looked much better in person. I think black or meteor gray with red interior is one of the hottest color combo. But yeah I agree about red carpet being a turn off.

Terra for sure. Carrera red is a little too "lipstick" for me.

Black floormats may help it. It is a bold choice - I'd have to see it in person to know if the red is rich/deep enough or, as mentioned, "lipstick" as it looks in the photos.

I finally found some photos I saved of a TT that was advertised for sale late last year. To me it has one of the nicest interior of any 997 that I've seen. This is Terracotta/black with deviating carpeting. Outstanding in my mind.

Good choice.

I've seen them in person and they do look better to me than in photos, but I'd still pass on it. A friend has a Z4 with the combo and it looks ok but not to my taste (and a lot of other peoples') so it will hurt resale value somewhat.
