I would like to lower my 997 with 20" rims with H&R Springs. Does it impact the drive quality of the ride i.e. ruff rid and loader cabin.

With 20 Inch Wheels you already lowered the tire profile, so your car might ride harder than before. When you add H&R springs it will even be worse, even though the handling will improve.

I wish you would have gone for 19 inches and added springs...

springs on 20"

I don't see much a difference from the 19" to 20". Not much of a difference. Perhaps maybe over poor roads but not on normal roads or highway.

More comments are welcomed

I'd go with Eibach Springs instead. They don't lower the car as much as the H&R's. I've got nothing against H&R at all. I have bought two sets for other cars in the past. If you are concerned about ride quality, the Eibach's will lessen the severity.

I have the H&R's on mine. They are stiffer - no question about it. If I had to do it again, I'd use the Techart springs.

I'm actually thinking about the same thing. I have 'heard' that the H&R units sag over time.

IS that why you'd use the Techart springs Sezme?

I am on 20" wheels and H&R springs. I never owned the car when it was on factory springs and 19's, but I did own the car with H&R and 19's. I did not notice much of a difference going between the 19 -> 20. I think it rides just fine, granted my is a garage queen and weekend warrior.

Techarts are re-badged Eibach's. Why pay the premium? Trust me, Eibach makes the springs for Techart.

I went with TechArt springs on mine. Perfect drop of 15mm (15mm since my car already has PASM. 25mm if your car doesn't) and no issues with PASM. I had heard about the sagging issue as well with H&R's over time (not sure how long it might take to sag though) and I think this is the reason that Sharkwerks stopped using H&R and went with TechArt. Perhaps Alex over at Sharkwerks could chime in on this as well as if the TechArt springs are indeed rebadged Eibach's (which sounds like they are).

No. I'd go techart because they are less "bouncy"

I had 20" on my 06 C2S. It looked awesome, not sure I would put springs on. If I did I would go with Eibach. They are the same as the Techart, save some coin.

I got Techart and am very happy. Lowers perfectly and rides very similar to stock.
