Angry What can I do about my window squeaking ?

What can I do about my window squeaking when I roll the window up or down, when it rains? Its annoying as hell, especially when you have a lady friend in a nice car and then when you roll down the window it squeaks, arggghhh!!!!! It makes me so mad, i tried to find if someone else posted it somewhere, couldn't find it, so please help. I know i have my regulars that stay on here, that will help me out. Thanks in advance fellow 6speeders.....

I am waiting for someone to say, "buy an aftermarket exhaust and you won't hear it anymore." LOL.

Mine squeaks too. I carefully cleaned the rubber seals on the door sill with mild soapy water. It seems that there was some tree sap/resin there and I was able to get it off.
Don't use any lubes unless you want streaks on your windows for years. If some of the felt has worn away, you will need new seals.

Ron: I remember that picture of your car 24 inches away from "danger" back on 12/20/09. This would'nt have happened if you had let some fresh snow get in between the rubber seal and your windows back then.

Just get a good rubber cleaner (mild soap and water would work too) to remove any old silicone, wax or dead rubber from the surface and you will be fine.

Ron,
Turn up the radio or get some AWE cats and cans. That should muffle the sound

Rub some dry soap on between the window and the rubber seal. Should work for 6 Months...
