maybe i'm being paranoid but I recently put on 15mm rear spacers. now, when I look at the rears, the driver side looks slightly more sunken in than the passenger side. I took the car to lucent motors and Tom asked if there was any work done on the car as that could affect the way that the car sits on the frame. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?? When I purchased the car, i was told that it had never been in an accident, and the paint meter shows even paint all the way around. The car did have a "creaking sound" and a weld had to be repaired. Tom said that he would be able to fix it although to be honest, I didn't understand how it could be fixed....

 

 

Maybe take your car to an alignment shop and they may be able to make things better for you.....

I do believe there are adjustments to move things in/out........

Agree with Justatoy. Also, perhaps one of your rear springs has settled a little.

 

Great advice Stacy, it sounds like the source of the problem.

 

I agree with Justatoy...the camber probably needs adjusting. A simple alignment will fix it. Plus with the propoer alignmen you will get better tire wear and handling.

 

Bump - I seem to have similar "issue" with my 2008 Turbo. The passenger side seems to protrude slightly more than the driver side (about 4-5mm at most). More apparent after the spacers...

Ive noticed that on passed cars too. Does anyone know if there are other settings to pull the wheels in and out if your car is perfectly alligned to specs?

 

Yup for sure the alignment/castor/camber setup. Same thing happened on my car when I installed +15mm rear spacers...all good now!
