I’m about to embark on the quest for more HP, with the help of all of ours good friend Stacy (Justatoy). Today the VF SC install begins. I’m just getting ready to leave my place, drive 30 mins, wait 30 mins, then take an hour and forty five minute ferry ride then drive another hour and a bit to get to Stacy’s. In the big scheme of things not a big deal for the transformation my cars about to go through. Did I mention I haven’t slept, I couldn’t in anticipation of today, the last week has been gut wrenching, but today is here and I’m happier then a pig in ****. Especially after seeing Cattmans dyno reading the other day. I don’t know which day was bigger the day I got my Porsche or today the day I get a SC. In any event it’s great to be a part of it all.
I hope to keep this thread updated with the progress of the install and have some fun along the way. Thanks again Stacy there’s no way this would have happened without your help!

I am not sure that your car will not be used by Stacy to drive in the rain. He has told me that he has always wanted to try, but doesn't want to try his car. BTW ask Stacy to wax your calipers while he has it!

You are in good hands, Stacy has this whole install thing figured out.

Good luck with the installation, I wish I were there to help- with the 2 of us working on it we'd be done in a day.

I can't wait to see the meth injection setup, and see what it does for you. I will likely have to do that soon, too, as the hot ATL summer is fast approaching.

As it happens, I am tearing apart my engine bay today- found the source of an oil leak: the passenger side crank case vent hose came detached. To get it back in place I've had to remove the intake hose from the IC to the TB, the TB, and now the plenum. Looks like one of my rubber sleeves to the plenum needs to be replaced, so I'll have to order that on Monday and hope this one lasts long enough without an air leak.

Have fun over there, and take plenty of snaps. I'm jealous- I'd love to do this on someone else's car under better conditions, meaning, with heat, light, and a lift. Jeeh, that'd be too easy!

At first I was nervous doing this for someone else BUT after doing a few times in my car...IT is no big deal!
I also allow the 'customer' full access to my garage,this way they get down and dirty with their own car and they also learn the ins-and-outs of the system.
Going to be fun.......

Gtech showed 281 RWHP with Evoms cold air and PSE on.....

LOL, he's going to put an SC back into his car with a 3.3" pulley and meth injection. If I got 442 RWHP with no fans an 67 degrees with the 3.4" pulley, I'd be the 3.3" with meth and cooler ambient temps will approach 500 RWHP. Do that math and you're approaching 600 crank HP.

Thanks everyone for checking this out! We just got the car in the garage and getting to jack her up. Stacy's garage looks sick with both the rides in it.

Vinnie: Unfortunately for you, I too made love to that same blower when I first got it. And I have no idea what Stacy did to it when he got it from me, except I know it is a lot shinier now.

I'm glad you took your car to Stacy's after washing it, as he doesn't allow dirty cars in his garage. You'll likely get it back with waxed rotors.

The blower is WELL used has Blown a few and been sold over over again!
Must be a good BLOWER!

As far as DIRTY......his is clean on the outside BUT OMG on the inside!
I have already used whole tube of ORANGE hand cleaner...LOL!

I have torn the car down,front,rear bumpers all the injectors are in and everything back assembled.....next will be engine mounts and mount the BLOWER!

I haven't looked at the instructions YET.....!
EITHER Vinnie is NUTS or just blind to that fact!
