Valentine 1 Install in 997.2 Coupe?

I am planning to install my V1 in my 997.2 coupe. I want to use the wire source in the interior light module. Using search, I did not find an install for the coupe.
Using the DIY from the Renntech board, I did an install in my 997.1 Cab. but do not know if the wire color codes are the same on the new model.
Has anyone done an install using the wire bundle in the interior light/ rear-view mirror (Rain sensing)?
Also, I can find no information on gaining access to the wires by removing the interior light in the owner's manual. I did find info on emergency closure of the sunroof. Is that all I need to gain access?
Thanks in advance.

I have 997.2 and just did mine two weeks ago. There is a picture thread on Rennlist.com that will take you through it step by step. I believe the 997.1 and 997.2 with a self dimming mirror have the same wiring harness. I found the wired and spliced into them with no issue. It was a very easy DIY.

Thanks for the reply. I see you have a coupe.
Did you just remove the light module or did you remove the entire sunroof motor assembly cover?
I have seen the Rennlist install and used that for my 08 Cab install and it was very easy. Glad to hear the wires are coded the same.
Thanks again.

My dealer hard wired my 997.2 for $50 prior to delivery. Didn't want to spend my time doing it or risk messing something up.
