BOLTS For HRE Wheels???

HI Guys,

Trying to figure out what are the right bolts for the HRE wheels on my 997. I ordered BOlts from VIVID RAcing and I basically received bolts that are made like the stock bolts I had on my S wheels. THe problem with those is that they stick out way too much because of the sleeve type of thing under the bolt head. When I look at the HRE Gallery it seems like the bolts sit way lower.

Can anyone tell me what to order or what to tell the guy at vivid racing?

Check with Wheel Enhancements (board sponsor). They have been very responsive and quite knowledgeable with several wheel questions I have had.

Using the serial number off the back of the wheels you can look it up with HRE and get the exact bolts you need. Let me know if you need my help.

The bolt on the right is the correct Porsche bolt. I looked into this a while ago and was told do not accept other style of bolts...I was really confused by this as well.

There is a lot of confusion out there too.

What you basically need is a bolt that looks like this. Still a ball seat, but the seat is much closer to the bolt head. This way it won't stick out as far. Contact WheelsJ....they'll hook you up.

Its the ball seat one on the right in your pic. I use CCW for the track...not pretty but forged strong and well reguarded with race teams and track guys.
