997.1 Bra
I'm also interested in the best bra out there - I'm not a fan of 'traditional' (as opposed to clear) car bras, but was thinking about one for track days and the occassional road trip. I second Cal's concerns - based on previous bras I've used on other cars, the paint rubbing/wear (especially around the edges of hood where it straps down tightly) and flapping at high speed are my biggest concerns. I'm interested in others' experiences.
Hi, I am also very interested in this.
I hate bra's [all kinds
] but this would allow me to use my 911 more frequently. I am a certified freak when it comes to keeping my nose clean and free of dings. I feel - a protective bra, as odd as it seems really is essential on our low to ground aerodynamic cars.
I'd love to find out more.

I had a custom bra from 'SpeedLingerie' that was outstanding. Breathed so no water damage risk, tight custom fit, color matched to the (white) paint. I had to give it up when I converted to a GT3 bumper (it was custom-fitted to the stock bumper and hood) and I've had it for sale for quite some time. So far, no takers. Regardless, I'd highly recommend them.
If you don't mind me asking, what is your aversion to clear bras . . . if any?
I ask because my clear bra install is just over a week away. I thought I had done all my homework and understood the pros and cons. I'm just wondering if there was some negative to the clear bra that I missed?
