mass is infamous around these parts
OEM - I installed it myself and it took around 1.5 hrs and I really took my time. The benefit of the OEM is it is a swap of the original shifter without having to break any tabs, etc.

I've driven a couple of different Porsches with the B&M shifter and also a 997S cab with the OEM SSK, and the OEM SSK is MUCH better in overall feel than the B&M. The B&M gives a short shift, but what comes with it is a stiff notchy feel. The buttery smoothness of the OEM regular shifter is gone when you put the B&M in. The latest OEM SSK, however, provides a shorter shift throw while still retaining that buttery smooth feel from shift to shift. That is why I'd pick the OEM short shift kit over a B&M anyday.

Now don't confuse the older factory Short Shift Kit with the 997/987 OEM SSK. The previous version OEM SSK was a rebranded B&M, and offered for the 996/986 models. That one, I would not buy. The 997/987 OEM SSK is the way to go.
