997S Clutch
997S Clutch
Does anyone know of a way to decrease the pedal effort on the 997 clutch? I know on the older 911's some adjustments can be made to make the clutch pedal a little softer...
This is not really a big problem and I am happy with the car. However, If I am stuck in traffic with lots of stop and go, the bottom of my left foot gets a little sore. The traffic on the 101 freeway is a killer these days!

Soory...couldn't resist.

Jlee,
The 997S has a self adjusting clutch, that will maintain it's same pressure and release point throughout it's life. I don't think there is an adjustment for pedal pressure.

Learn how to idle your car along in traffic, let the gap in front widen with the goal of never having to stop..works for me, not too much clutch use, nor brake use, for that matter on the 101.
It's an aquired skill, but having never owned a car without a stick forv 30 years, I've learned a trick or two.
Sit back and enjoy the drive
