C2 or C4S
Hi All,
Anyone have a C2 or C2S who regret not purchasing a C4 or C4S? Wife has given the ok to go purchase my 911 dream car....she still can't figure out why I want to drive an ambulance. I love the rear end on the 4wd but they're rare here in toronto. Lots of 2wd available but I'm still not sold on the 2wd with 305's on the rear. Thxs.

I really love my C2S, but must admit the wider rear on the C4S was my preference. For me it just came down to a better deal at the time of purchase for the C2S and really no C4S's with similar equipment.

I have a C4S, and even though I live in sunny Los Angeles..... there is definitely something sexy (yes I said it ) about the rear end of the car..... I do think the C2 S would be a good choice too! I would go for the S version either way!

I say go for the C4S, you can still have fun with this car and still go very fast when you need to, but in the same breath handle the different weather that will be thrown at you living in Canada. Awd is the way to go unless it not going to be you daily driver.

I have a C2 that I drove all winter in Ottawa (we get REAL winters here :P ).
I don't think I'd ever consider an AWD car to be honest. Not that they aren't great, I'd love an A4/6, but I just think you loose a little something without the RWD.
Both are fantastic cars and neither will disappoint. Buy the best car you can afford.
DISCLAIMER: I am the type who would drive a GT3 on the street every day so I obviously don't mind sacrificing my comfort on a commute for all out performance on the weekends.

I would add to that specifically - if you will drive it a lot in winter and your routine will include driving up and down steep hills - get a c4 car.
regular c2 goes fine on snow tires on flat roads but naturally c4 does it better ad you will have better stability.

I bought the C2 and love it but like with boats, can't go wrong by moving up to an S or an 4S. I found a great 4S I wanted last week but couldn't work a fair trade. that is why I say go all the way the first time and then you won't have to try to trade up so soon.
