anyone get ecu tuning for 997.2S... want your impression!
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I have 997.1 and take apart this Motronic Software myself.
I see the usual KFZW/KFZWOP (Ignition Timing/Optimal Ignition Timing)
Also we have LAMFA (Fuel)/KFLBTS (Fuelling for component protection from 860deg+)
The usual KFMIRL/KFMIOP/KFPED are present. Also NMAX in these n/a engine but not optimal to molest (imo).
I will leave factory RPM limit the same - it is uneducated to increase RPM in n/a motor, it revs high enough 7200rpm/7300rpm. My gearbox is automatic and have limit of 3800RPM in 'P' and 'N' gear. They should be left alone.
We have a map named ''Delta - Zündwinkel Vollast spät Motorschutz'' which to me looks like 'Retard for knock protection' but am not 100% on translation.
Can't stop - at work.
Sorry to revive old topic, but I will use MAHA MSR 500 Dyno to monitor hp/tq increase with my Stage 1st 'theory'. It is difficult to monitor automatic exhaust because no 'real' clutch, just 'N' to select after pressing 100% throttle.
Hopefully we can monitor and see if it is worthwhile gain on n/a motor
