09 nag question

Seems like all the 09 911's I'm interested in are equipped w/o nag. Can I Have the oem nav installed at the dealer? Is this costly? Is there a better option? Thanks

I believe you can add nav at the dealer but it is very expensive. A portable unit might be a better and cheaper option.

As for me, I am happy that I don't have a nag in the car, that is why I got divorced.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

not sure for a 997.2 but for a 997.1 the upgrade is about $4000

Have the PCM 3.0 taken out and replace it with a Kenwood or Pioneer head unit that does everything...Bluetooth, ipod, XM, plays DVD's, etc...

Cheaper and better!

Woa! For a 997.1 the upgrade should be less than $4k. Even if you buy the DVD drive for full retail ($2k) the rest of the parts are only about $300... However you can find the drives on ebay from time to time...

I think a 6speed member tried to add it to a 997.2 (have to replace the in-dash PCM), but it didn't work out for some reason.
