Laser Interceptor Installed in C4S - pics
I just installed the Laser Interceptor - Dual in my C4S. I thought I would share some photos of the install. The shop did a great job - Very Stealth!

I have been looking at a laser Jammer for years. I have done a ton of research and the best in the industry is the laser Interceptor. It's funny that all the local shops never seem to carry the LI or even hear about them. Check http://www.guysoflidar.com/july-2008...mmer-test.html This was done back in 08, but shows the results of all the major brands - LI always in #1. Cliff is the US distributor and he is very knowledgable and responds in seconds to your emails. The guy is great!
BTW - the Blinder is Ranked 3rd

I opted for the dual (2 heads front mounted). You can add another 1 or 2 heads for the rear, but since my car is so new (bought last Wednesday) I do not have the rear plate yet, so I could not mount the rear head (best location for a single rear is at the top of the rear license plate). Besides in my area the laser usage is almost always from the front by a Cop on the side of the road. I will probably consider adding a 3rd at some point in the future. The good part about the LI is you can add a switch to put the unit into park assist mode.
the install looks nice and clean!
one question, tho.
in Cali, the laser jammers are illegal, so we need to turn off the Interceptor as soon as the 1st warning comes.
the current on/off position looks inconvenient to reach in a hurry while trying to slow down..
is there another kill-switch besides the on/off switch?

You can put the Kill switch wherever you like. I leave my LI on all the time so I jsut wanted the switch to not be visible - hence the lower carpet area. I have seen the switch located under the parking brake or to the left or right of the steering wheel - the choice is yours.
Hey BlkonBlk, where in OR are you? Portland area? If so, was wondering which shop you used. I've been considering a laser jammer also - I have received a bunch of laser hits on my V1 on I5... and on the way to central OR.
We have a group buy on LI running, at least for a day or two more for anyone that is interested...

I am actually oer the Bridge in WA. I had the install done at Stereo King on 82nd in Clackamas. They have a few locations. I heard their Aloha store does some good work as well. Oregon is the worst for Laser. It is almost always used
