997 High Mileage Club
Saw a similar thread in the 996 forum from a few years ago that got me thinking...
Just curious who has the 997 with the highest mileage (or km)? I know I can't compete with 36k miles on my '05 997S but I'm sure there are some out there with more than double that! I've seen a couple on AutoTrader with about 80k miles!
Just curious if the owners have had any major repairs/experiences to share also...

i`m about to break 50K very soon - actually less than 2K miles is left.
changed water pump after found dryed coolant on its mount and an amplifier at dealer by warranty. had some whistling noises from clutch and still have minor vibration on a pedal when depresses - but all noises went away an there is no slippage. do not want to take the risk to permit dealer to open it up as they may charge for labor if no damage will be found to coverable items.

I just broke 30,000 kms yesterday in my 07 C2S. Not overly high (it had 13,800 when I bought it in March 2008, but high for me. When I got the 911, I made a decision to actually drive the thing (my previous car, an 04 E46 BMW was a garage queen that spent most of its time driving to and from the car wash)

48k on my 2005 C2S. Going in next week for the LN Engineering IMS bearing upgrade and a new clutch + install of AWE muffler. Doesn't need the clutch, but while it's cracked open for the IMS, it makes $en$e to do it.
Runs likes a top -- the IMS upgrade is a preventative measure.
