New and Strange Noise above 4000 RPM
I've searched the forums and haven't come up with anything so I thought I'd start a new thread to see if anyone has any thoughts.
This past sunday, returning from a mini-road trip, I noticed that when I pushed the engine past 4000 rpm, I heard a hissing sound in the cabin coming from the passengers side of the engine.
I didnt drive the car again until last night. This time with the windows down and sun roof open, I heard what I would describe as a whirring noise above 4000 RPM coming from the passenger's side of the engine, but this time it was much louder (as the windows were open). So I kept it under 4000 rpm the rest of the drive.
The car is an 06 C2 with PSE and has 18,000 miles.
Any advice is appreciated.
