Won 2nd in a Concours today!
I know it's not my 997SC that you all know, so it may be off topic, but figured I'd share a win, nonetheless. My '87 took 2nd place today in it's group/ class at the PCA's PeachState Regional Concours. I was not expecting to do so well, as it was my first ever Concours, but it was an honor.
Next time I think I'll bring the 997SC, too, since they're in different classes. By the way, I scored 139.2/140 and the winner scored 139.5/ 140. Too tough to call, but his was a gorgeous '88 Turbo Slantnose. In the background you see the winner of the 356 group and the overall People's Choice winner, an immaculate 356 Speedster.

Congrats...I know how much work goes into winning any kind of trophy at a councours.
Have you considered replacing the black bra with a clear bra? It's probably just me, but the big old black cover out front makes the front end of your car look huge.
Regardless, job well done!

Thank you. Yes, I've considered many options. However, that picture is a little off, as it doesn't show the size of the whale tail- which is actually nicely balanced by the bra. Here's a side shot, before I put the black stone guards on.

Here is the '88 Turbo Slantnose that beat me for 1st place in the division. He beat me by .3 points out of 140 total, or .002%. That's the equivalent of 1 spec of lint under the passenger seat, LOL!
At these PCA events, they don't deduct points for not being 100% stock, so he was not penalized for the Gemballa wheels or 5% limo tint.
It was a gorgeous, and ferocious sounding car, owned by a super-nice guy. He thought I was going to win, I thought he was going to win, and we laughed at how close it was. Overall, I believe we had 2 of the hightest scores of any car in any class. For the most part it was all very friendly, although as you might expect there were 1 or 2 guys who take it a bit too seriously.
