I read that the 458 was forced in the lane due the the F150 pushing him over. I also read that the 458 driver insist he was not going around traffic but ended up in this lane trying to avoid this guy pulling out on him.

Where was this stated? Seems unlikely given that the traffic supposedly was blocked up...even if the Ford was going in front of the Ferrari, doesn't make (good) sense for the 458 to go into opposing traffic...and then the Ford *still* comes out and intentionally wants to crunch the 458? If the Ford was really trying to muscle its way out, just let it pass. To go in the opposing lane is just asking for trouble.

It's more plausible that the 458 just wanted to get ahead, so it zooms into the opposing lane, then the Ford didn't see him (why would he expect traffic going the wrong way?) till it was too late.

I dunno why some ppl assume that the Ford was wrong somehow...just because he has the cheaper vehicle? That would be real easy to solve fender-benders: "hey, how much is your car?" "oh, $250k more than mine?" "ok, you win"

Do you think that the 458 was in the left lane, crashed head on against the F150 and shoved it to the right wedging itself under it? Not in a million years.

Huh? What don't you get? Do you think that it's impossible for a heavy-duty Ford truck to climb on top of a ground-hugging, low profile sportscar? It appears that the 458 popped up in front of the Ford and the Ford climbed it. I don't see why the scenario I've described earlier is so hard to understand.

Look at the video in detail, examine the relative angular positions of the two vehicles relatively to the yellow double line, think about it and you will understand what I said.

I read what you wrote but it doesn't make sense, unfortunately. Otherwise, the 458's rear axle should still be in the proper lane (not the opposing one) and only w/ the front axle rotated into the opposing lane: this is not the case. Also, witnesses already said that the Ferrari went into the wrong (opposing) lane.

What is w/ giving the 458 dude the benefit of the doubt, esp w/ the evidence against him? If he was truly wronged, you can bet that he wouldn't be so calm.
