OT: Tsunami warning
OT: Tsunami warning
Sirens are blaring. Crib is two blocks from beach. Packed all my valuables. First wave to arrive in under five hours. Sacrificing the surfboards and taking the Sig and 911 if I decide to evacuate. Wish me luck boys.
i exchanged some emails with folks i know in Japan - they say it was quite brutal, they were 150km from Tokio but got quite a hit too apparently. Scary stuff.
ps. news now say - hundreds dead, in the morning they started from 60 or so... sad sad sad... still amazing how good is Japan ready for such stuff - less developed country would most likely be leveled flat after such hit.

FFFFUU was actually falling asleep when the 5-0 started doing laps up and down my street with the bullhorn and flashing lights at 2:30 am telling me to GTFO. At that point, it was impossible to fall asleep so I headed inland to the parents to wait out the arrival. 1.5 hours later I was over it and had to take side streets back to the crib since all travel into the indundation zone was police barricaded.
2 hours late for my first surgery this morning after sleeping right through the alarm
It's gonna be a great Friday gents, at least the C2S and my crib are unscathed
