So, which one is worth more?

 

My thoughts too - hard to miss the Classic ducktail in the backround with the sculpted bumper...

 

the new speedster is nice, but come on, its not even in the same class as the 356 when it comes to looks and coolness

 

They have had the car for some time now/2010.

I'll take the ol' 356 all day every day. As said, "cool" is hard to duplicate.

 

My wife and I were having dinner at my folks house last night. My dad was cool enough to TiVo an episode of ‘Ultimate Factories’ which we were watching together highlighting the building of the 997.2 911 in the modern Stuttgart factory from start to finish which was very cool in itself.

They had shown a few pics of the 356, and totally catching me off guard, my dad says, “I had almost bought one of those”. I asked.., really?? Yes, he had put a deposit on it but then realized he didn’t have anywhere to put my grandparents when they needed a ride!

The 356 is a pretty classic but they are slow and handle like a Beetle (I know, my friend had one).

 

They are both classic.....speaking of which, the car in the background is the Champion version of the Sport Classic. It is actually a white 2010 4s with cocoa interior. Sport classic front, rear, spoiler (missing the GT3 skirts and special grey paint and power package.). $155,660...
