Bought my dream car

After months possibly years of looking, I made the purchase. Finally found the right one at the right price. 07 C4S with 12k miles. Super clean like new. Bought from a dealer so I could trade my E46 M Cab. Not a CPO car, but with 12,000 miles I hope I don't need it. It will be my daily driver for my 30 mile commute. I pick it up this weekend.

Congrats and welcome to the club. Carrera is an ideal daily driver, being driving mine daily for 4 years and she only has 14K miles on the clock.

What are the options on your C4S?

Great News

You'll enjoy everything, even traffic. Consider getting an extended warranty for a couple of bucks. 3k miles a year is light. Even with one previous owner a little comfort may be worth the $$.

Now just keep your eyes on yours, upgrading is expensive !

It has Nav(4 year old). CD changer, 2 tone leather, Sport Chrono plus. Comfort Seats. 6 speed manual.

Any recommendation of where to look for an extended warranty are appreciated.

You can do a search, there's a variety of 3rd party warranty companies. I have an excellent relationship with the service manager at the dealership so I am leaning towards getting the dealership associated extended warranty which is Fidelity Warranty Services. Their Gold package covers just about everything and will run over $4K for an additional 3 years. This was in the price range of the quote I received from Easycare for a similar comprehensive warranty. You could go for the cheaper coverage but I prefer peace of mind with coverage of electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, A/C in addition to engine, transmission and drive axle which is covered by the basic, cheaper Powertrain extended warranty.

These cars aren't cheap to fix, although yours and mine are low mileage and troublefree who can predict what may happen in the next 3 years?

Well, since I trolled here for a long time to figure out what was a good price, maybe I can help someone else out with my experience. C4S are a premium here in CO, but I waited till spring to trade my M3 Convertible which got a little better trade in. But all said and done I paid right at $59k. Not a great deal but it is like new...
