Need to get Mr. Fusion installed in St. Louis - any recommendations?
So I picked up a Mr. Fusion the other day and need to get it installed somewhere in the St. Louis area. I managed to install the Flux Capacitor myself but the Mr. Fusion didn't come with instructions...
In all seriousness, I'm looking to see if anyone has experience with St. Louis area shops. I'm not due for service yet but when I am, I'd like to have a good shop in mind.

Parktown and Plaza are the only Porsche dealers in Metro St Louis.
I've bought a couple of Porsches from Parktown as well as had all of my service at Parktown. They are mod-friendly inasmuch as installing aftermarket parts (bought through them) though they have gigged me a couple times for CEL's from things they've installed. Their service area & waiting room is pretty poor and dated, surprising since they only have Porsche & Audi. But the service guys are pretty good. Their service manager, Dan, is a straight shooter, good guy.
Plaza is a mega dealership that has MB, Porsche, Land Rover, Lexus, Audi, Caddy. Their Porsche sales area is quite secluded. I've only had my Mercedes serviced from Plaza and they are top notch though the Parktown boys claim they "...only have like 1 or 2 Porsche techs..."
For non-dealer service I think most STL area Porsche folks would agree that Reid Vann is the place to go. He is actually down the street from Parktown, focuses specifically on Porsches, and you will frequently see him out at local track events. And, he's a nice guy. He is definitely cheaper than the dealers.
I cannot speak for their service, but if you don't mind a little drive, Isringhausen (a board sponsor) in Springfield, IL is top notch for sales. They typically have great eye-candy for those impulsive shoppers like me and a very nice and accommodating staff.

I was driving north over the grapevine a few weeks ago and saw someone with either one of the cars from the movie, or a darn near perfect facsimile of one, driving in the opposite direction.
I moved from the area and always had good experiences in the metro area after warranty with GLB Motor Works

Good info guys! I am considering having the Chrono package added - I'll chat with a few of those shops and see what they say - I need to make sure it won't invalidate the warranty too.
???? Is that really possible? Maybe it's mostly software and some hardware but when I had it in my Cayman I didn't really use it. Now that I do not have it in my Carrera I don't really miss it.
Maybe I made a mistake - it may not be called the chrono package - it is called the Sport package I guess. http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...Code=997238per - based on what I read it offers the performance tweaks of the chrono package....

From what I've read, it is an ECU upgrade that changes the throttle response and I believe suspension / handling too. I believe I read that the chrono package (and those tweaks) add about a third of a second to the 0-60.
