Vivid Racing + ECU Tuning

I just did the Softronic ECU tuning on my 2011 Carerra 4s through Vivid Racing and I couldn't be happier. Dealing with Dan Mermelstein and Josh at Vivid Racing was an absolute pleasure. Dan was very helpful in addressing my concerns and carefully walking me through the process. The upload of the tuned file was a snap and literally only took 6 minutes - start to finish! I had no problem with trouble lights , which i know can happen. Dan provided all the instructions though on how to clear those issues if they crop up with temperamental ECUs through the diagnostic Durametric software. The performance increases, especially torque in the low end and midrange, were worth every penny of the investment for me.

LarryP, is the difference between softronic and sport, similar to the difference between normal and sport mode? More low end torque/power? Does the tune change the normal mode, the sport mode or both? Any sound enhancement to the PSE?

thanks

You can feel the difference in both modes on or off once the tune is done. No sound difference but what I have done and I feel I have one of the best sounds is add the cold air intake and disconnect the pse so it's on all the time. It's louder and deeper then standard pse.

I might try the intake and PSE disconnect. I am wanting a bit more volume than the standard pse. To disconnect, you just unplug it on the passenger side above the oem air box right?

I appreciate your help.

DFI files are usually 48 hours during business days. So if you sent it Friday after hours, it goes 48 hours from Monday. I am checking on yours now.

Glad you guys like the tuning! Make sure to leave feedback on Vivid Racing here - www.vividracing.com/feedback
