Sharkweks or Fabspeed muffler bypass design?
Sharkweks or Fabspeed muffler bypass design?
Which design do you guys think is better for 997.2 S, in terms of power and sound? Looks like Fabspeed uses X-pipe design, while Sharkwerks uses straight-pipe design.
Fabspeed

Sharkwerks

Sharkwerks
I chose the Sharkwerks. From my perspective: the less bends in the pie, the better the flow of the exhaust.
I'm loving every second I'm behind the wheel. To be honest, I'm not sure why I'm paying for XM Radio because all I ever listen to is the exhaust note.

+1 - Sharkwerks for sure.. I love it!
Thanks guys, glad you have tried and like our exhaust, it was a fun project designing and testing it when we picked up our 09 PDK Carrera S, many miles were spent hanging our heads out the window listening to the different styles we tried and a couple days were spent on a dyno. Ah good times
As some of you know we tested the x-pipe (merge collector) style design and ultimately ended up choosing the pass through, independent tubes, this was mainly because we preferred the sound of the latter. And it does make a bit of a difference, whether you've got a PSE or a standard exhaust, it sounds sportier and a bit louder, which in the case of the 09+'s super quiet factory exhaust is a good thing.
