Parkcity911 is infamous around these parts
I just bought a set of Eagle F1 Assymetricos from tire rack for my 2001 996. I'm hoping they are good, but even if not as good I got a steal on them for $540 WITH an $80 rebate. Pretty much the price of one expensive back tire. So, anyone with 19" needs to jump on these! I am currently running Kumhos and they are pretty sticky, but noisy in the rear. Thanks.

Looks like a heck of a closeout deal, but it seems like the widest 19" tire is 275. Not sure of that would work on a 997...

On my 2001 I'm currently running 275/30/R19. What are the 997 sizes? Wider in back I take it? My friends scored some 18" Kumhos for $550 too. You need a deal when they wear out so fast.

Just spoke to Damon for about 5 min, grilling him with questions. He was very helpful and I recommend anyone with tire Q's give him a call. I'll be ordering my PSS's this afternoon.

you need 295's or 305's in the rear of a 997.

I also spoke with Damon twice today, and wound up buying a set of Hankooks to try. He was extremely helpful and cleared up a lot of questions and concerns for me. If you're reading this thread, you probably should be talking to him.

I've had the Hankook ventus tires on for almost a year now. They are still quiet and sticky in wet and dry conditions. During the winter they are on the slick side, but not nearly as bad as the Pirrelli's I had on there before. I don't drive in the snow, just cold and wet in the mid atlantic area

I'm up in the air right now. Hankooks vs Supersports, leaning toward the latter.

I have Super Sports and I love them. P Zerro were terrible and would understeer like crazy. Super Sports are just great at everything... I simply love these tires. 305s on the rear.
