All going in tomorrow! I hope all 3 will give the car a more sporty feel.
Pic of a steering wheel hiding in a box is a teaser, it is absolutely of the hook and I can't wait to see it on!

It's brand new so it's still looks good. I had an OEM 'RS' alcantara wheel for three years and it still looked new when I sold it. As long as your hands aren't excessively sweaty and you don't have any lotions or oils on your hand the alcantara will hold up just fine.
Hard not to used lotion in Colorado, it's very dry unlike California, where I never used lotion. Thanks for the info, I had thought about swapping to alcantara but I think I'll stick with CF.
That's why I swapped my Alcantara out for CF. Prior owner, albeit seldom driving (11K), has destroyed the Alcantara to the point that I could not bring it back to where I felt it should be. I always washed my hands before I got into the car with Alcantara wheel if that tells you anything...
Is this a core exchange deal on steering wheels with DCT (do you send in your wheel) or does the money just buy you a new wheel compleatly?
I assume since you had a gt3rs wheel before and sold it that you didnt have to send one in but I could be wrong. V35, that is an amazing wheel. I love it man, Would you say the alcantera is oem quality or is it the same meterial? I figure you would know best having had both

Oh that explains it then, so send in your original leather wheel and they re-finish it in any style, fabric or meterial of your choice eh.
Was it a large turnaround time~ how long would one be waiting for the wheel to comebacK? I have the car stored now for the canadian winter, but it would be nice to know
Another thing I was wondering about is, why did porsche choose such a light grey colour on all the parts that people touch most often? I dont expect an answer from you Im just stating that I think it's strange. Very good choice on going abit darker I think you will find it holds up better over time.
As J.Clarkson said it looks like they covered the car in moleskin or mouse skin lol ~ I beleave he was refuring to a Focus RS but it was the same alcantera meterial. My cars covered in it.
Sorry Dirty Veges for hijacking your thread BTW ~ Ive given you +1 in rep power points for my wrong doing
Im currious to see your wheel also
get to some work so we can see those pics~just kidding
