A friend sent this to me today.. Even Jeremy Clarkson 'gets it'.

Thanks for the Top Gear link.
I saw this in the theater and I didn't it want it to end...I was engrossed in the story and torn up when it got to his crash. I walked out thinking that the man knew his time was coming up, did not feel as though the cars were safe under the conditions, and pushed his car to that point almost as if to prove the point that they were unsafe. He was a man with very strong convictions.
When this happened, I didn't pay as close attention to Formula 1 (or any racing) as I do know, so it didn't affect me much then. But after aging and hopefully maturing, I have a much greater appreciation for the man and his skills/successes. This movie did nothing but intensify my perspective of him. It's a must see for any auto-enthusiast (even NASCAR die-hards).

Currently on Netflix.
Great movie. Must watch!
In case you guys missed it, Bruno Senna (Ayrton's nephew) has been named a Williams team driver for the 2012 season:

Great show
I've really wanted to watch the movie again, and probably will, but the sad ending has been making me hold back.
My advice...watch it again and celebrate the life....thats the beauty of his story
That's a healthy perspective I'll try to embrace, but I lost a loved one a few years ago, and have had other encounters with mortality, so the sad ending hits a bit close to home. Not meaning to bum any out, but we're all grown-ups here, and most of us have been through such things.
To the established institutions at the time, he seemed arrogant and challenged all in the belief that he was of another realm. But those established and jaundiced ones misunderstood him. He's simply an extremely passionante human being. But often times, those of us that are naive in the ways of the world tend to learn the lessons in some of the harshest ways...
When he died that day, my family thought dreadful events had happened when they saw blood drained from my face.
Schumacher was behind Senna at the crash and well ahead in the championship with a lackluster team. . When Michael eclipsed Senna's records, during the post race interview, it was finally evident the burden he had carried all these years.
Records can always be broken, its the passion, the soul, and the drive that inspires. Don't forget.
A beautiful movie well done!
