Senna..The Movie

I mentioned this on another thread but figured I would let this crowd know...

Thanks for letting me know. I checked Netflix a while back and it didn't give the release date. Glad to know that it is available now, I will watch it this weekend for sure!

All the chatter from Will Buxton about this movie earlier this year made it sound like it was well worth it. I loved Senna so it will be interesting to see how he and his driving is portrayed.

Thanks again!
Rhonda

I saw this in the theater and I didn't it want it to end...I was engrossed in the story and torn up when it got to his crash. I walked out thinking that the man knew his time was coming up, did not feel as though the cars were safe under the conditions, and pushed his car to that point almost as if to prove the point that they were unsafe. He was a man with very strong convictions.

When this happened, I didn't pay as close attention to Formula 1 (or any racing) as I do know, so it didn't affect me much then. But after aging and hopefully maturing, I have a much greater appreciation for the man and his skills/successes. This movie did nothing but intensify my perspective of him. It's a must see for any auto-enthusiast (even NASCAR die-hards).

Well stated, I always admired him for his convictions on and off the track. Sounds like I will really enjoy this movie.

I saw it in the theatre as well and was just blown away. The way the story line is cobbled together with all of the footage is a true testament to good storytelling. What a loss.

Watched it yesterday. Have been waiting forever and a day for it to arrive on Netflix. Great flick! I remember well the seasons that Senna was dominant.

Just watched it for the second time.

Senna's driving is phenomenal. But in the rain it's mesmerizing!

I've been in DE's in the rain with my carrera where just going to the gas with just too slight an abrupt movement sent the rear end sliding; on street tires.

To see what aryton could do is just magical.
