The color match and the finish are a great match.....not shiny either. Obviously its not soft touch which I barely noticed.

Nice looking buttons. Your cost beats the $300 to replace that unit.

Thanks for the info. What about the radio buttons for each side? Does each just pry away? Or, . . . ? Thanks,

Can you clarify what you are asking? You don't need to touch the stereo to remove climate control.

As well as my climate controls (temp and fan), I need to send the two radio buttons. They are sticky also. I'm thinking I can place a sheathed butter knive behind the radio buttons and pop forward the radio buttons? Maybe? Thanks,

I was able to pull off both my radio *****. I grabbed them w/ my fingers and pulled them away from the PCM. I then soaked them in warm water & Dawn. A white film formed on the outside of the ***** & I pealed this off w/ my finger nail. I then finished it off w/ rubbing alcohol & a soft tooth brush. Popped them back on & they are good as new w/o the soft touch rubber feel.

Looks good, but did they use stickers for the "TEMP" and fan icon?

I can't tell.....there is no distinct sharp edge that one would think you could pick at like a decal. Although in my pictures it may appear that way because its raised ever so slightly, but its somehow blended in. You can barely tell unless you are staring right up at the switches. I really do highly recommend this. You will be happy with the results.

Thanks GBBc2s. The climate control buttons on mine are just starting to feel a bit sticky so I have a feeling that the texture is starting to disintegrate and I'll need to do this soon too. How is the feel of the refinished buttons? I assume it retains its rubbery texture.

pretty much if your AC control says ECO instead of AC off, you have a great chance to get the rubberized buttons. The newer AC control (that says AC off) has the hard plastic buttons...

It does not have rubber coating, but it has a matte to satin finish......you won't even notice.
