Orange Tuning DRL LED HELP

Hello fellow 6speeders! My DRL LED lights just came and after asking Frank if it was a simple plug n play pulled the trigger. Now it seems like there needs to be some modification which I didn;t wanted at all. I saw earlier posts and knew about the modification but when i asked Frank if I had to modify he said no. :-( Anyways anyone in OC Cal have this installed and don;t mind helping me out with this install?? Please let me know because I'm the last guy DIYer. Thanks in advance

What kind of modification were you told about? The LED DRL are true plug and play, except if you want it to perform like the 997.2, then you would either need to do the Dectane module or the simpler and much less expensive Utkinpol hack.

I think that people are confused. The dectane front lights are LED's not DRL's. if you want them to behave like DRL's, you either need to buy the dectane's DRL module or to make your own hack by tapping two cables on the light switch and using the home part of your light switch to activate the DRL's.
To install the LED's is really plug and play. no resistors, no warning lights, no drama.

What part of OC are you in?

Like others have said, if you want the new lights to act like DRL's, you need to either install the Dectane module (like I did), or perform the latest Utkinpol hack. The hack appears to be the easiest and cheapest solution.

It took me about 10 minutes to install them. Super easy!! If you want them to act like DRL you will need the module. I am selling my Dectane DRL module if you are interested? Bought it from Frank but decided not to install it.

Cheers!

Gentlemen I guess I didn't do much research on this like the tail lights which was a plug and play with no module needed or a hack when i bought it. Keninirvine, i live in SC Metro area neighboring about 5-10 mins from Irvine. Maybe you have some time to advise and can guide or even help me thru this process? tlis300, if you don't mind please send me a PM for the price of that module? JoelPirela, yes I do want it to behave like the DRLs so I guess i will have to tap into the wires or use the module. Thanks a bunch guys!

Alright, I'm having some issues as well.

Here's my issue, factory wiring harness has 3 plugs going into the stock light housing.

Orange Tuning lights have what appears to have 2 plugs.

Plug #1 - Super simple
Plug #2 (not really plug but seems like it may be the male end of something) I can't find a spot to put it.

I plugged the first plug in and thought I might not need the second plug but I got the error message.

Does anyone have any idea what the second connector is for? (smaller in picture)
