PCA GGR Track Video @ Thunderhill Raceway

This is my second time out on track, the 997 is an absolute joy on the track. I managed a 2:17.025 for my fastest lap according to the official lap timer during the time trials, although Harry's Laptimer clocked a 2:18. I was still on street tires and since this my second time on track, please go easy on the lap time heckling

Enjoy!

Enjoy!
Nice running with you up at TH, Henry. We certainly had our share of varying weather conditions - sun on Friday, heavy rain Saturday, wet and dry on Sunday. So glad the track dried for Sunday's runs. See you at the next GGR event hopefully!

Great job on the 2:17, that is where I was last July with PCA GGR time trial. The is an awesome result for second time at the track

Thunderhill Rain Dance.

Here is a back facing video from my GT3 of Thunderhill in heavy rain. The rooster tail you see is about 20 feet tall (looking to get some images of the car on the straight). Only going about 120 at the end of the straight in this video. This is on PS2 street tries. Note the standing water "splash" near turn 7, a few folks went off there during saturday in the wet.

All in all a great weekend, dry, very wet, drying and then dry for the time trial.

Thanks Geoff! Driving in the rain actually helped me a lot learning about how to control the car in a slide. I had a couple od scary moments on turn when I slid on the wet berm, but all was well. What would be a good target time for next time?
