cabrio tops wrinkle

my top has a couple of wrinkles from folding and i can see as i lower the top where they come from, but there is no way to fold the top nicely so this doesn't happen...or an i missing something...they are not bad and the top is nice and taut when closed...also the side frame over the windows has a spot kind of in the middle where it rubs when folded, again, not bad but noticeable...do others have this? and what to do? or fagedaboudit...

it's normal and as far as I know there's nothing you can do. Just be sure to clean and seal your top (Raggtop or other products) and try not to open it while it's wet.

Yea everyone I've seen has this. Nothing I found can prevent it. Just drive with your top down all the time and no one will notice

keep the top up when parked will help to prevent the wrinkles around the C pillar. spaying water under sun when the top is hot will help to smooth it too. if it really bothers you, you can use a steamer on medium setting to smooth it out.

thanks for the replies, the top is smooth when up, you can just see the outline of where the wrinkles are so no worries or need to steam, i am going to clean and treat/seal it this weekend... would love to post pics but that will have to wait till i figure out this new vaio
