For some reason the seller claims that it's totally possible to do and even very simple
it is a tricky one. if it has no bose option PCM is actually a fully analog unit from output perspective.
from input perspective it sits on a CAN bus so, it is down to question what ECU you have on a 2011 turbo and if it speaks same language with your car.
imho, it may work. only way to find out is to try it. but, you know, with ebay you never know. i would try to negotiate with a seller ao option for refund if you will not be able to pair it with your car.

Well i have Bose and as for the car it came off i'm not too sure.
Good thing about this is that the seller is local so i might try to see if we can meet up at a local Porsche dealer and try it out.
On my previous 997 i had changed my head unit to a Pioneer Avic and though it looked very nice , the install was a complete ***** and sound had deteriorated .
So my goal with this would be to be something as stock and simple as possible and it doesn't look that that's the case...
Thanks

if you have Bose - your sound is sent over digital optical cable to your Bose amp. that means new PCM must have Bose module too. standard non-Bose PCM has simply 4 channel analog output with RCA jacks. i cannot tell from pictures what unit it is that guy sells.
Call or visit service manager at dealer first and try to ask him to get his best tech into office to discuss this stuff. they should have some knowledge hopefully of what can and cannot be combined but i would not give much hope there, you know, they never 'try' such stuff as to put units from newer models into older ones and most likely they will not want to do it. a good local installer who works on p-cars and has his own PIWIS station would be better to use, imho.
PIWIS is a special computer system to configure computers in Porsche cars. costs close to $30K per year so only best indy shops and dealers can afford to have it.

There was someone who did it, but suggests just buying after market for less money and better options
