Springs or damptronics?

Hey all I just put a set of ruger mesh on my 06 997s cabrio with sport . They look amazing. The gap between the wheel arch and the wheel is more evident to me now and im wondering if I can just install the springs to solve the issue or if I will run into issues over time...Or would I be better off splurging fror the damptronics. Obviously Id prefer to save some$$$ but want to do the right thing. I dont track the car and it does have sport chrono.
Thanks!

try this first,
http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...r=Without+TPMS

you can put them on yourself, it is a doable job, then get car to mechanic to re-align, it is usually only $150.

if the only thing you care about is having the car be about an inch lower, get a set of springs. if you want adjustability, then get coilovers. i had coilovers on my past car and only adjusted it once. on my 911, i'm going to get springs bc i don't use the adjustability so its not worth it to me. everyone has said the car still rides really well on eibachs so thats what i'm going to get.

I had Damptronics on my 09 C2S and then put a set of Eibachs on prior to selling it. The Damptronics worked well on the track and they weren't too bad on the street. When I put the Eibachs on I was impressed with how nice the car felt around town. I never tracked the car with the Eibachs but on the back roads they were fine. I will either put a set of Eibachs or Techart springs on the GTS.

We have a set of H&R lowering springs that will lower the front and rear about an inch.

recommend Eibach or Techart. Coilover is total overkill if you never track. Forum has tons of post about this. Take advice listed above or take the time to read through forum. You will eventually arrive at same conclusion.

Following consensus and plan on having the pro kit installed. Can anyone provide some experience in terms of fair prices for installation?

Thanks!

I would think you are looking at between $600-$800 for springs and alignment.
