What should I check for? CPO is ending in a month.

Hello all,
Just wanted to see if I can get some inputs on what I should take the car in for, since my CPO is about to run out in a month. Have anyone experienced anything that I should know about? Recalls, typical problems, etc...

My car currently has 43k of super dependable miles. Im not jinxing myself, but after the warranty is out, I don't want to stuck w/ some stupid repair that I could have taken cared of it while I'm still covered.

Pls advice! Thanks.

You might want to check into Costco VPP which seems pretty reasonable for what they cover.
I got quotes from $3700 with $500 deduct, my CPO just expired last month and I have 37K miles.

Why not call your local dealer and explain this to them. Maybe they will take your car in and look it over (for free) and they can fix anything they see that might need warrenty attention. Also if you give them your vin# they can tell you if any updates or re calls need to be done (they should be free too).

Exactly what I was going to suggest. My dealer performs multi point inspections for free and since they make money on warranty repairs they're incentivized to find things that should/could need attention.

Get a PPI done by a solid Independent Porsche shop and use that to verify that you have no issues or problems. It will cost you 250 bucks .. But that is cheap for piece of mind!!!

slave and accumulator issues. If clutch is difficult to press and/or leakage at reservior is present. These traditionally go out at 50K and run $1800 to replace.

My CPO ends in July too, my dealer told me to bring it in for a final complimentary checkup to get whatever needs to be fixed under warranty.

Sounds like a win - win to me. You get your car inspected for free and anything found by someone ( Porsche Dealer; who knows Porsche's best) corrected. The Dealer gets paid by Porsche for anything he finds and hopefully retains you as a customer in the future.

I just had this done, along with an oil change though. They changed the alternator cable I believe. The service guy said it would have been $1100!!! :0

Thanks for all the inputs guys! I just made an appt with Newport Beach Porsche for a checkup next Monday. I was gonna go w/ Pacific Porsche in Long Beach, but of the few times I was there, I felt like they were just skimping over my car and wasn't 100% genuine on helping me out.
