How come I'm just finding this out? Is my only option h&r? I was looking for a bit more conservative drop. By the way my local Porsche stealership quoted my $1700 for install and alignment. Anyone know of a shop more reasonable in Chicagoland?

Eibach has it in development, but when I checked a month ago they couldn't give me an ETA so I just went ahead with H&R's.

$1700, sounds way steep. I went with an outside shop...all the people there are ex-dealer, the owner of the shop and the techs. Paid about $500 for the install. The best alignment shop in town charges about $180.

My dealer quoted me 6 hours at $135 + $230 for allignment = $1040. But $500 sounds nice.

If you go to your local indy shop, you should pay about $600 including alignment.

Does Techart have anything? Eibach makes springs for Techart.

I wonder if there is a deal with Eibach not to sell in the US for particular models. Eibach makes springs for Brabus as well. I remember they don't sell eibachs for the SLK. But all the guys from the forums would order it from Canada or Germany and had it shipped here. It was still cheaper than getting brabus. I remember getting mine for around $400 (brabus) plus shipping. They were $199 for eibachs.

According to the sharkwerks website, techart springs can be selected for turbo/4s/4. So the same springs can be used for the turbo and non turbo 4's? Then how come I can't use the eibach springs for the turbo for my 4s since eibachs and techarts are supposedly the same thing? Confused....
